Japanese Clothing

A kimono is a rob like article of clothing that  Japanese wear.
  Kimono means thing to wear.
Another word for kimono is gofuku, which means clothing.
The kimono in my drawing is for women, but men used to where them too.
Another style of kimono is called furisode, which has sleeves that almost touch the ground.
Japanese men today only wear kimonos at weddings tea ceremonies and other very formal occasions.

Modern Canadian Native Artists

I recently went to the kelowna art gallery they had a exhibit  of the Group of seven.

I think my favourite of them is Alex Jenvier.

I like his work because it looks metallic and I like how his work is loopy and swirly.
Here is one of my favourite paintings from him that i saw in the kelowna art gallery.

I like this painting because it looks like a unicorn and a bug.

Another artist i like from the group of seven is Joseph Sanchez

here is one of his art works.
