Food and nutrition class
My sisters and I started a 4 week cooking session from our friend.(he is a nutritionist)
The first class we made beet hummus and avocado spinach ginger sherbet.
We learned that different colors in foods means it has different vitamins and nutrients for different part of your body.

On this chart the foods on the outer edge you can cook with out taking out any nutrients, but the food closer to the middle you do not want to cook because it takes out all the nutrients. in the very middle it shows what colors have certain vitamins and what those vitamins are good for.
